New Amateur Radio Group

Last Wednesday, January 22 2014.  I attended the first meeting of the Ochoco Amateur Radio Association (OARA). This groups focus is on Amateur Radio in general but also on Emergency Communications.  I think that this will be very beneficial for the ham community in Crook County as well as the general population within Crook County. I encourage every interested Amateur Radio operator to come to the next meeting which is held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm.  I hope to see you all there.
